One love
Respect the grounds you walk on, pay homage to the traditional custodians of our land and take the time to learn about what we do not understand. Lets not build our truths on misguided evidence. There is beauty and peace in every culture and we should all contribute to nurturing the love that is in every walk of life. This is not our country, we do not own it, we are just privileged enough to be born here.
Reggie
This is my homie Reggie. He is one of the most talented artists I've ever met. Reggie is an exceptional singer, songwriter and drummer for numerous bands in and around my home city. He is also the son of soul songstress Kylie Auldist from the The Bamboos. Even though some creative genes have crossed somewhere along the line, Reggie holds it down as a unique artist in his own right. I have worked with many artists in my time, but Reggie will go down as one of the great ones.
Still laid up
Curling in my sheets, dropping endone, slippin my disc like a goose, with my mind on lovely and lovely on my mind.
Pain town
Laid up in pain town, chewing endones. Pray to your gods.
My lower back got the hurts
I ruptured a disc in my lower spine, playing basketball and it's really hit me hard today. I thought this photo was fitting.
Congratulations
My family Motley (Joe) and Nicole just got engaged in Samoa last week. They are the cutest couple in the world.
New film on the way
I spent today with my homies Sophie and Damien composing for my new film. They are the best. I can't wait to show you guys.
:)
I pour a lot of my pain into everything I create. It increasingly chips away at my core. But it also grants me peace and understanding. Thank you for appreciating the fruits of my journey.
Dear deer
This deer overdosed on opium many moons ago. I'm sure he was a good guy.
Walk
Your judgements are only an extension of yourself, a path that only you know. You don't know the true realities of the roads you have not walked.
Don't look down
That hair...

Happy Birthday Matti

SOS Blak Australia (Part 3)
This is the last run of photos from Fridays march against the unjust closure of indigenous communities in Australia. At this stage in the protest we shut down one of Melbourne's busiest intersections. Even though it disrupted peak hour commutes, it remained peaceful and powerful. I hope everyone enjoyed my photo series over the last few days, it was an honour to document such a compelling demonstration.
Always was, always will be aboriginal land!
